There are two common ways to access your cPanel control panel. Below you’ll find both options, plus quick troubleshooting tips if something doesn’t work.

Before you start

  • Open your preferred browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, etc.).
  • Have your login details ready: cPanel username and password (usually provided in the hosting welcome email).
  • Use HTTPS whenever possible for better security.

1) Access via domain (the easiest method)

In your browser’s address bar, enter one of the following:

Note: Replace yourdomain.com with your actual primary domain.

What if you see an SSL warning?

If the domain was recently pointed to the server or SSL is still being issued, you may temporarily see a certificate warning. In that case, use the port-based login below.

2) Access via port (most direct and reliable)

The secure, standard cPanel port is 2083 (HTTPS):

Alternative (not recommended, only if necessary)

The legacy, non-encrypted port is 2082 (HTTP):

Common issues and quick fixes

1) “Page not found” or the wrong page loads

  • Verify your domain DNS is correctly pointing to your hosting server.
  • Try with and without www.
  • Use the port login: https://yourdomain.com:2083.

2) “Connection timed out” / page won’t load

  • Your network/ISP may be blocking the port temporarily.
  • Try a different network (mobile data) or another device.
  • Use https://domain:2083 (most reliable option).

3) Can’t log in (wrong credentials)

  • Make sure you’re using the correct cPanel username (often not your email address).
  • Check Caps Lock and keyboard layout.
  • If the password is lost, request a reset via your client area/support.
